Norihiko Terayama was born in 1977 in Japan.
He lives and works in Japan.
is known as a product designer who has created numerous masterpieces. He grew up in a creative environment: His grandfather was known as a restorer of the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, and his father continues to work as an architect to this day. Influenced by his father, he first studied architecture and then attended the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands, where he majored in product design under Gijs Bakker, the founder of DROOG Design. Before returning to Japan, he also completed a one-year internship at the office of Richard Hutten, a member of DROOG Design. Tracing his career in this way makes it very clear that his current work is rooted in architecture and design.
