Biography

Max Huber (* June 5, 1919 in Baar, Canton Zug, Switzerland; † November 16, 1992 in Mendrisio, Switzerland) was a graphic artist and graphic designer, specialized in commercial graphics and internationally known for his poster art.

He studied graphic design at the Zurich School of Applied Arts, where he followed the lessons of Alfred Willimann with particular enthusiasm. During this period he met numerous artists, including Werner Bischof, Emil Schulthess, Josef Müller-Brockmann, Carlo Vivarelli, Hans Falk, Hans Neuburg and Max Bill.
